Case Natural Maple Burl Wood Ladder Damascus Mini Trapper Knife
Case Natural Maple Burl Wood Ladder Damascus Mini Trapper Knife
Case knife handles are made from only top-quality and legally-harvested natural materials such as Deer Stag, Buffalo Horn, Cattle Bone, Mother-of-Pearl or Exotic Hardwoods as well as durable and resilient synthetic materials like Corelon or Delrin. Due to Case Knives' new policy, U.S. retailers are no longer allowed to sell outside the U.S.A.! International orders that contain Case knives will be cancelled.
The polished nature of the Maple Burl wood handles perfectly complements the Ladder Damascus blades to bring a sophisticated family of Case knives destined to be a classic. Mini Trappers are a smaller version of Case's Trapper carrying two full-length blades, the Clip blade and the Spey blade. The Clip blade is commonly used as a multi-purpose blade and is preferred for detail work. The Spey blade is commonly used as an all-purpose utility blade. The basic trapping and skinning blades make this a must-have knife for those who trap small game. Forged ladder-patterned carbon steel Damascus blades are as dependable as they are beautiful. Handcrafted in the U.S.A., this classic American Case Mini Trapper is about 3 1/2 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 2.5 ounces. The handle is smooth Natural Maple Burl Wood with a Nickel Silver Bowtie CASE Inlay shield. The bolsters are Highly polished Nickel Silver. This knife utilizes a 2 3/4" Clip blade and 2 3/4" Spey blade. Stamped with pattern number 7207 DAM, the blade material is Damascus Carbon Steel. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly

BLADES
Clip
The Clip blade is extremely versatile — just the thing for those everyday tasks at work or around the house. With a sharp point for piercing, the shape allows for better control of the cutting edge.
Spey
The Spey blade was a vital tool for farmers and ranchers who would use it when castrating livestock. Also a favored tool for skinning game, this all-purpose blade shape is found in many popular knife patterns such as the Trapper.
