742 Reinsman Twisted Max Gag Bit

This mouthpiece lies comfortably across the horse's tongue and is great for any timed event competitor. The 742 Sweet C Ported Chain Mouth conforms to the shape of the horse’s mouth to provide tongue relief and even pressure dispersal. This is a wide, 1 1/2" port that provides a greater amount of tongue relief than the average chain port. The 1” gag action has a no-pinch ball design for greater comfort and to oppose potential pinching of the cheeks. It's a great bit for Barrel Racers and Ropers.

• All leverage bits should be used with a curb chain to function properly. Without a curb chain, a shanked bit can rotate back toward the rider. Curb chains should stop the shank’s rotation at approximately 45 degrees.
