5" cheek, 5.5" mouthpiece.
Smooth Snaffle: Designed for the rookie competition horse and also those in training that are ready to move out of the ring snaffle bit. This curved smooth 2-piece mouth is for the horse that you are trying to build confidence and bend in. I would use this bit on a well mannered horse.
Chain: The chain mouthpiece is a pleasing bit for most horses, and encourages bend in a turn. Chain mouthpieces offer you the option of being able to handle your horse and also keep his mouth fresh for other bits. Generally, horses keep a nice soft mouth in a chain bit like this.
Twisted Wire Snaffle: The twisted wire snaffle mouthpiece in this bit will offer a little more feel than the smooth snaffle. If your horse is stepping up his speed and needs a little help in his turns, you'll love this bit. I use this bit on a horse that wants to be a little stiffer in his turns as it will encourage bends. Most horses love this bit.
Twisted Wire Dog Bone: This is one of my favorite bits to use on colts that are just getting into a shank bit. The 3-piece mouth in this bit allows me to introduce the curb chain to my young horses and still keep them confident when I pull on them in the turns. If you ride young horses, you need this bit in your collection!
